    Over 36 feet tall and weighing more than 1/2 a ton, Dàimh are a high energy folk group featuring members from Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton and California. Their sounded is deeply rooted in Gaelic culture but borrows freely from the backgrounds of its members, highlighting the relationships between the countries. The group recently added Mod gold medalist Calum Alex MacMillan on vocals, underlining their dedication to the Gaelic language. The other members of Dàimh are Colm O'Rua (banjo/mandola) Gabe MacVarish (fiddle) Ross Martin (guitar) Angus MacKenzie (Highland and Border pipes) and James Bremner (bodhran). The group has three albums to its name, the latest being 2007's Crossing Point.
