Bruce Molsky, fiddle player, singer, guitarist and banjo player, has been exploring traditional music from an astonishingly broad range of cultures over the past two decades - from his old-time American first love, to Appalachia, and more recently to Ireland and Eastern Europe as a member of Irvine and Lunny's Mozaik. When in the company of Mary Ann Kennedy, Gaelic singer and musician on harp and founder of the 'Gaelic supergroup', Cliar, he turns his attentions to Highland Scotland. Together they delight in common ground and musical tangents alike, shedding new light on familiar territory and re-uniting distant musical cousings.
