The Tune Up programme makes a greater range of high quality live music, of all styles, available to the widest number of people in Scotland.
Applications for Tune Up 2007-07 are now closed, the following is for information on the guidelines and criteria for the scheme, which will be updated in time for Tune Up 2008-09.
What we're looking for
We are looking for high quality and innovative proposals for tours that will bring new, exciting or world-class live music to audiences all over Scotland:
- Innovative proposals for tours
- Unusual or interesting collaborations (including cross genre and cross artform)
- High quality performers with national and/or international profile
- Engagement with new audiences
Who can apply?
Anyone is eligible to apply for Tune Up including the following:
- Individual artists or their representatives (agents, managers etc)
- Bands, groups and ensembles
- Scottish based and/or UK and international artists/groups
- Individual promoters and networks of promoters
- A syndicate or network of venues
- Tour managers
- Record labels
