Two of Scotland's Finest Music Talents Combine To Create Special Tour

Two of Scotland's best young music artists are to take their unique singing and playing into communities across the country throughout the month of March. It will give Scottish audiences a prime opportunity to hear some of the best live music available from leading home-grown talent.

Renowned Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis from North Uist and top fiddle artist Jenna Reid from Shetland are both award winners and friends. They have performed together in all girl group Dochas but this tour will see them performing with their own groups of musicians. Their performances are supported by the Scottish Arts Council's Tune Up programme - an exciting initiative to support music touring in Scotland.

The seven date tour will allow audiences in the Outer Hebrides, Skye, Tobermory, Aberdeen, Dumfries and Galloway to sample live music that wouldn't have been on offer without the Tune Up programme.

The tour begins on Saturday 3rd March at Carinish Hall, North Uist, and runs through to Sunday 18th March when the final performance will take place at Middlebie, Dumfries.
