Tune Up 2004-2005 brings you some of the very best music you'll hear this year, from traditional Scottish music to contemporary classical, from jazz and world music to cutting edge Scottish electro funk.
Tune Up is the Scottish Arts Council's music touring programme that brings more music to more people in more places, more of the time. Tune Up is all about bringing a rich and diverse range of music to audiences all over Scotland - no matter where you live. Whether you live in a city centre or in the remotest part of the Highlands, you'll find a Tune Up tour somewhere near you.
There are some wonderful musical collaborations and partnerships in this year's tours and Tune Up offers musicians opportunities to do something different, to tour further afield and to be inspired by new audiences.
In this 2004-05 series of tours you'll find established names and new musicians breaking through on an upward curve. Wander the website and dip into the rich menu of tours. You'll find some of your favourites and discover something new. Enjoy it all.
