Tune Up is the Scottish Arts Council’s music touring programme that brings more music to more people in more places, more of the time. Tune Up is all about bringing a rich and diverse range of music to audiences all over Scotland. Whether you live in a city centre or in the remotest part of the Highlands, you’ll find a Tune Up tour somewhere near you. Tune Up brings you world-class performances from leading Scottish and International musicians from home and abroad - and everything from traditional Scottish music to contemporary classical, from jazz and world music to cutting edge electro funk.
Over 14,000 people across Scotland enjoyed the first series of Tune Up tours that performed all over Scotland from February to June 2004. There were sell-out performances from tiny village halls to the largest city concert halls and some wonderful evenings of fantastic musicianship from bands as diverse as Capercaillie, Erik Truffaz, Biffy Clyro, Paragon and Cliar. Tune Up tours are rapidly becoming recognised by musicians and audiences alike as a promise of some of the best music around.
Join us and enjoy it all.
